Sell a story.

Gilles Payette

Gilles Payette began his career as a bronze sculptor, but quickly found himself fascinated with cast glass. So he built his own furnace and began selling bowls at the Buyers Market.

Today he sells one-of-a-kind sculptures.

The Buyers Market of American Craft (BMAC), a wholesale show held twice a year in Philadelphia, offers a venue for innovative artists to connect with qualified galleries.  This show provides a professional setting for the development of wholesale contacts and generates new business for both buyers and sellers of American craft art.

For more than a quarter of a century, the Buyers Market of American Craft has brought together the top professional studio artists throughout the United States and Canada.  The only trade show for "Made in North America" quality products, the Buyers Market provides retailers with an environment in which to find unusual, cutting-edge handmade craft.

With more than 1,500 professional exhibiting artists in 12 categories, these artists have a track record of experience that assures you prompt delivery of work that sells.  As an attending retailer, you'll find that many artists are willing to provide "exclusivity," insuring that the work you order will not show up in another store in your area.  From furniture and home accessories to jewelry and fashion, the artists exhibiting at the Buyers Market of American Craft are dedicated to creating a partnership with you so that you can delight your customers with new and exciting designs.

Just getting started?  According to the University of Florida's Craft Retailer Survey, craft stores have experienced the highest percentage of sales growth in the nation and fifty percent of gallery owners indicate that the craft community in their area is growing.  Click here for more information about the craft industry and how you can get started.

To make your buying experience efficient, the show layout is divided by the following categories: Glass, Ceramics, Mixed Media, Interiors, Outdoors, Scopes, Guilds, Wearable Art, Fine Jewelry, Fashion Jewelry, General Jewelry, and Premier Jewelry.
