The 2006 Top Retailer Nominees
| NICHE magazine, the exclusive trade publication for retailers of American craft, is proud to announce the finalists in its new Top Retailer Awards program. More than 18,000 professional fine craft artists throughout the U.S. and Canada nominated nearly 700 galleries, retail stores, arts nonprofits, museums and guilds for the inaugural Top Retailer Awards. Criteria for nomination were based on NICHE magazine's Retailer Guide to Best Practices, which details the characteristics of craft retailers who are committed to fair business practices and to growing and strengthening the American craft community. Award winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Friday, July 21, 2006, during the summer Buyers Market of American Craft, July 21-23, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pa.
