NICHE Top Retailer Awards FAQ

4. How are the award winners chosen?

Craft artists from across the United States and Canada are asked to nominate up to five galleries for the Top Retailer Award, and at least one retailer, arts nonprofit, museum or guild for any of the remaining categories.

After the artists vote and the nominations are tallied, nominated retailers will receive a Retailer Application in order to advance to the judging stage of the competition.  

NICHE magazine will then assemble a panel of independent judges of prominent community members to review and score each application. The retailer with the highest score in each category will be declared the winner.
