DIPPING A TOE IN THE WATER
For the past several years, the Visiting Artist Program at the Buyers Market of American Craft has allowed people interested in learning about wholesaling their work access to tours of the show floor, educational seminars, and the opportunity to get their questions answered by show staff, and speak with exhibiting artists and retailers.
With every Buyers Market the program gets better and better. This year, we're re-introducing one-on-one portfolio reviews for a limited number of participants, and speakers include craft sales guru Bruce Baker, Wendy Rosen, president of the Buyers Market and author of "Crafting as a Business," and others. The program even has it's very own MySpace page, complete with 32 friends. Join the revolution and sign up for the winter Visiting Artist program in Philadelphia this February 16-18, 2007.
