Toolless
Displays LIGHTING
All
exhibitors are required to rent electricity from the Pennsylvania
Convention Center Authority. The PCCA offers a variety of packages
in order to accommodate our exhibitors needs.
In addition, the PCCA also offers electrical packages that include
the rental of lights themselves! These forms will be provided in your
exhibitor kit. The PCCA even provides a grid-form so that you can
instruct them as to how you wish your lights to be hung before you
even arrive!
All bulbs used in display lighting must be covered due to fire codes/regulations.
Fast, efficient toolless lighting ideas:
- Clamp lighting
- Track lighting ’ affix all units to the track prior to your
arrival.
- Spotlight your work from the floor of your booth.
Use
double-sided Velcro straps to affix lighting in various corners
of your booth.
Secure individual lights or entire tracks to a pole or crossbar
using heavy-duty zip/cable ties or duct tape.
**TOOLLESS TIP: Duct tape can be useful for keeping unsightly
wires from impacting your display. However, heat and humidity makes
the adhesive gooey, causing the tape to detach. For this reason,
duct tape should not be used as the sole element for attaching entire
tracks of light to your crossbar. Use zip ties to ensure that your
product stays safe!**
